2.1. The present General Terms and Conditions of Sale (G.T.C.S) should be read by the Customer before making an order.
2.2. Use of this website by the Customer, i.e. filling in the order form and confirming the order, signifies full and unconditional agreement with the present G.T.C.S., which shall be the only terms and conditions applicable to the following contract.
2.3. The BonBonist reserves the right to modify the present G.T.C.S. in part or in full, at any time.
3.1. The products on offer to the Customer are those listed in the catalogue published on this Website. The offer is limited to available supplies and contingent upon proper website operation.
3.2. Each product is presented accompanied by pictures and descriptions. These descriptions, intended to provide the Customer with key product characteristics before the finalization of any order, and they may not be used as grounds for any liability action against the BonBonist in any way whatsoever.
4.1. Shortly after you have placed an order with us, an email will be sent to you acknowledging the exact details of your order. This email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from the Bonbonist.
4.2. The BonBonist reserves the right to refuse an order if the Customer fails to fulfill any one of these obligations. More generally, and for any reason whatsoever, it may refuse any order that appears abnormal or incomplete. No order is final until it has been confirmed by the BonBonist. The BonBonist will confirm its acceptance or non-acceptance of an order within 2 business days starting when the order was entered at the Website.
4.3. Once your order has been placed, cancellations or modifications will not be accepted. However, in exceptional situations, we will try to honor your requests for changes. If your shipment has been accepted by the shipper, no changes can then be made. For any order modifications (billing or delivery address, delivery date etc.), please contact our Customer Service Department at least two working days before the original delivery. 5.1. All prices shown on the website are in HK$. Prices may change and offers may be withdrawn at any time.
5.2. Products may be purchased on the Website with Visa, Mastercard or American Express cards via Stripe secure payment system.
5.3. All on-line purchases are calculated in HK$.
If your payment is made in a different currency, your final cost will depend upon the rate at which your bank card company exchanges your currency for the HK$ and any additional fee charged for such exchange by your bank card company. The exchange rate may be fixed by your bank card company on a day other than the day on which you request product. Invoices are available upon your request. 6.1. Purchase orders and invoices are kept on computer, under reasonable security conditions, for the BonBonist
7.1. The supply of products available for online sale is limited. The name of any product that becomes unavailable will be removed from the online sales catalogue as soon as possible.
7.2. If there is a shortage of a particular product, the BonBonist will call or e-mail the Customer as soon as possible to find a solution:
• postpone delivery until the product is available again, if and when this is possible
• replace the product with one that is comparable in terms of quality and price
7.3. Please note: The risk of product unavailability is higher during holiday periods (especially the year-end holidays) than during the rest of the year.
8.1. Our sealed parcels are specially prepared by The BonBonist for shipping.
They are tamper resistant and well-suited for normal handling by our shippers.
8.2. All reasonable efforts will be made to assure prompt delivery of your order. Although we can assure delivery to the proper location, it is up to you to verify receipt with the delivery service. Failure to identify properly problems to the shipper upon delivery may result in your inability to pursue a claim. Most of our shippers require a signature upon delivery. Once the product is delivered, we cannot be responsible of it is loss or damage from the environmental conditions in which it is left, or that develops after its delivery.
8.3. If a package has to be returned because there was an error in the address or it was impossible to make delivery to the address indicated, the BonBonist cannot be held responsible in any way, and redelivery service will be charged.
8.4. If a delivery address is not sufficiently complete or precise, the Bonbonist reserves the right to call the recipient to obtain the details needed to make delivery, which means that the telephone number has to be correct and the recipient has to be there to answer the phone.
8.5 When the recipient or another person is absent, the delivery service will leave a card to advice of the missed delivery at the delivery address indicated by the customer, inviting him/her to collect the products. In no circumstances will the BonBonist be held responsible for any possible deterioration in the products caused by late collection from the delivery company.
8.6. The Bonbonist will not be responsible for delays caused by events beyond its control, including strikes, natural disasters, or terrorism.

10.1. The BonBonist guarantees that its products are packed following strict quality control rules and stored in compliance with Hong Kong standards.
10.2. However, the BonBonist cannot warrant the quality of its products if the Customer does not ensure optimal storage conditions or consumes products past the "use by" date indicated on the package.
11.1. All of the elements used on the Website (photographs, illustrations, pictograms, descriptions, logo, trademark) are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of the BonBonist.
11.2. None of the elements used for the Website (e.g. software applications, visual components or audio material) may be reproduced, broadcast, exploited, circulated or used in any way whatsoever, either in part or in full, without express prior authorization from the BonBonist, which holds all of the copyrights.
